There is construction taking place near the buildi ng which can get noisy and the shades provided in the unit do not block out the light so pretty difficult to sleep in on days off. There are still a few things that were missed but nothing to make a huge stink about. I did raise my concerns and a very helpful maintenance employee (Alandro i believe his name is) went above and beyond to make sure things were rectified. There were holes all over the apartment, areas that needed the paint touched up, dirt marks left behind by construction team and dust everywhere. I moved into a unit that was not finished. For those of y'all saying that the office staff feels cold, keep in mind that this is a weird time for everyone, and that a kind word can help lift people's spirits! … – show Will update with pros and cons after I've spent some time here, but ultimately, I have a good feeling about this place! Looking forward to getting to know the on site team better!! P.S. At the end of the day, the leasing agreement was signed, and I'm looking to be at Atlantic Station. As someone who reviews contracts and writes policy, I know I can be difficult at times. Throughout the leasing and application process, Lenora and team patiently answered any questions that I had. The original apartment that I wanted actually got leased out the day before I arrived, but Lenora was able to pivot and help identify a suitable alternative. I liked it so much I scheduled an in person tour before I even showed up in Connecticut. Was connected with Lenora for a virtual tour and was shown various spaces. ![]() I recently took a new job out of state and was casually looking for houses or apartments. If you want to move to Stamford there's a lo of bulding a by the water much nicer. Always losing and misplacing my packages!!! Most of my packages get misplaced or they send it to another apartment! There's always something with the packages I don't recommend the Atlantic's, leasing agents will give you false information, it's overpriced, it's a dead town, the only thing that is walkable is the train station. ![]() I though this building was a smoke free building. Weed!!!!!!! neighbors smoking weed and it's not only one neighbor it's more than one!!! Sometimes I smell weed in my room, in the kitchen, getting out the elevator and I also have to deal with that. My neighbors are very loud you can hear everything they are saying, I know when they are cooking, I know when they are doing Laundry, I know what their fights are about, I know when they are having sex LITERALLY!!! You can hear everything. They told me I can move to any unit after 6 months but it was false information If I knew this before signing the lease I wouldn't even move here, that was the only reason why I signed the lease. Now im reconsidering moving out of Atlantic and waiting for the documents need to execute a lease break for review, at this point I don't really care how much it's going to cost me to break it and leave!!! Reasons why I want to move out: 1. With that being said you will still qualify for the Atlantic Station West current special if you apply within 48 hours from your tour a one-time 1 month base rent free and a one-time $2,000.00 gift card (14 month minimum lease term).” I was willing to break the lease and pay the penalty and sing a 14 months lease to move to the new building (to one of the most expensive units they have there) but now they are telling me “that the proposal they gave me was a mistake (false information once again)” so now they are adding more and more and more and more and more fees. In order to break your Lease at Atlantic Station Apartment #- your buy out fee would be $8,036.00 with 30-60 day notice. “This was the proposal from below: I hope I was able to answer your questions. When I asked one of the leasing managers what do I need to do to break the lease and move to the new building this is what he sent me (the proposal below). ![]() I've been here for 6 months and wanted to move to another unit (the unit that I was waiting for that is now available) and the leasing manager is telling me that in order for me to do that I have to break the lease after they told me that I can just move after 6 months. The only reason why I moved here was because the leasing manager at Atlantic Station told me NOT ONCE but a couple of times that after 6 months living here I would be able to move to the new building or any other unit in Atlantic Station and I just found out it was false information in order fo r me to sign the lease. The staff are really great but Leasing agents and managers are not that great, they would tell you anything for you to sign the lease and once the lease is signed your lucky if you get a quick response.
